Corresponding to an overall theme 'Songs that could have been Danish' this music is influenced by the songs we sang at school, sometimes not even understanding the deeper meaning of the archaic lyrics who had this poetic touch, sometimes with notes of nationalism, sometimes love and romance. They shaped our musical understanding as well as our native tongue, insight and awareness.
Rather than interpreting the old masters like Nielsen and Laub we reflect them. Rather than leaving our cultural heritage to nationalists we challenge it to keep it fresh.
